We own the Sky....

Currently I've only been listening to M83, American Nightmare, The Postal Service and Atmosphere. Stupid seasons, finish changing so I can listen to obnoxious dance music and terrible rap.

I am so ready for summer, skateboarding, cut off shorts, adventures, parties, fun, etc etc.

I'm kind of a mess right now, all I've been doing is staying in bed then going to work, I can't even muster up enough effort to play video games. It's kind of bad. Oh well.

I'm not really sure how I pulled that one off, but I'm okay with the results.

I saw Watchmen today, for the first of I'm assuming many many times. It honestly did the comic book justice. I won't go into specifics seeing as it's been out for 2 days and I'm sure no one wants spoilers. The stuff that was left out was usually briefly touched on, which was nice to see that they did realize that the fans pay attention to everything. There were some small things added in, but generally I feel they were tasteful and well executed. The lack of squid still bums me out to this day, but the ending worked.

I need to goto bed soon. But I'm not sleepy. So I'm going to go make myself some lunch-dinner and try to pass out.

I went skateboarding today. Such a good/bad decision. Being active rules, going outside not so much. But atleast it's getting nice this week. A++.

I'm re-reading Scar Tissue (Anthony Kiedis's biography). It's really awesome and makes me want to play music, all the time. Dammit.

This is a Lie.

I miss blogging, it's been way too long. Some stuff has changed in Hazen land, for example I found a new job and I am substantially happier. My mindset is fantastic. I'm saving up for school and attempting to figure out my life hahah. It feels pretty awesome. Uh, I got my second tattoo too? I like it. This is when I just got it done.

Sorry for the male nudity, but yeah it's about two weeks old. So asides from that I'm kind of boring. I haven't been going out having fun that much lately, because I keep weird hours, and work overnights. But it's cool.

I'll try to blog more, but no promises.

Parisians; You're fucked.

In the past twenty-four hours, I've watched two things I've been meaning to see for quite some time. First being Justice's "A Cross the Universe" dvd, which is a tour dvd, that has small amounts of concert footage, and a hilarious amount of shit they do(I'll get into that in a sec.). The other was Daft Punk's "Electroma", which is a 74 minute film without dialog and sparse noises.

A Cross the Universe is probably one of the most awkward yet hilarious things I've seen recently. It's basically a huge inside joke that I'm sure I only understood half of. It covers Justice's tour across America and Canada, focusing on things they did while not playing shows. A whole lot of gun ranges, drunk girls, and seeing eight million dollar houses. It's all around a good time, very entertaining. I'd say the best part of the entire dvd is seeing Xavier sing to Anthony Kiedis, but that's just my opinion.

Later I start watching Electroma...before I start this, let me say. I really do like Daft Punk, a lot. But this film can basically be summed up as "Robots driving, robots looking at other robots, robots walking, robots on fire". It was just kind of very sparse and boring. A lot of the cinematography is very well done, but at times it really has nothing going for it. The last 20 minutes of the film are pretty invoking, and I enjoyed many different types of people dressed up as robots, but asides from that the film was too much wandering in the desert. It was ok, I guess.

So basically... all I'm trying to say with this blog post, is that you french people have some pretty fucked up ideas. But atleast they're entertaining.
